Andrew Greenseid, President

In 2010, Andrew Greenseid established Greenseid Consulting Group to help organizations meet the challenges of running a small business in today's environment. Andrew has more than 16 years experience as a finance professional and has worked for some of the largest corporations in the United States, including Best Buy, Northwest Airlines and UnitedHealth Group, in addition to start-ups and non-profit organizations, with prior experience as a consultant. This work history has given him expertise in a wide range of industries including: retail, manufacturing, medical devices, healthcare, transportation, education, real estate, and not-for-profit.

Andrew received his BA in Philosophy from the University of Wisconsin – Madison. His MBA is in Finance and International Business from the Carlson School of Management at the University of Minnesota. Andrew's first job out of college was serving as a White House intern during the Clinton administration, but he didn't see anything.

Lija Greenseid, Principal

In 2014, Lija Greenseid joined GCG to provide evaluation consulting services to clients in the fields of philanthropy, public health, education, and social services. Lija was formerly a Senior Evaluator with Professional Data Analysts in Minneapolis.  Lija has taught graduate-level courses in survey research and qualitative research methods at the University of Minnesota and the Program Evaluation seminar for the Mini-MBA for Nonprofits at the University of St. Thomas. Additionally, she has co-authored numerous articles in peer-reviewed journals, and has presented frequently at state and national conferences.

Lija's BA is also from the University of Wisconsin - Madison. It was there, at the Memorial Union pool hall, that she met Andrew. Her MA is in Educational Policy and Administration and her PhD is in Quantitative Methods in Education and Program Evaluation from the University of Minnesota.

In additional to her evaluation consulting, Lija is a passionate advocate for affordable prescription drugs and a member of the #Insulin4all movement. Her story about buying insulin abroad, at a fraction of the cost in the US, has been featured by local, national, and international news.
